Real color codes
Perler, Hama, Artkal S, MARD and Nabbi. Switch brand and the whole pattern moves to the nearest colors.
Your bead box, counted
Keep your stock by code. See what each pattern needs, what you’re short of, and copy a shopping list.
Board by board
Blue lines mark every 29-peg board. Making mode shows one board and one color at a time, and remembers your place.
Worth showing off
Save a picture of your design with a code that brings friends here, or post it to the gallery.
From a picture to beads you can buy
Choose an image and pick your brand: Perler, Hama, Artkal S, MARD or Nabbi. Every pixel is matched to the nearest color on that brand’s card, then the rarest colors fold into their closest neighbor until you reach the limit you set. Simple pictures with bold shapes look best; 8 to 20 colors suits most.
A standard board has 29 pegs a side, and a 5 mm bead makes 29 beads about 14.5 cm across. Pick how many boards wide you want and the pattern shows where each board ends.
Know what you need before you start
Every color shows its code, how many beads the pattern takes and, if you keep your stock in My beads, how many you’re short. Out of a color? See the closest ones with a match percentage, swap it in one tap, or turn on “Use only beads I own”.
Is this Perler bead pattern maker free?
Yes. Making, editing and following a pattern is free with no account. A clean PDF costs one credit, or it is free if you post your design to the gallery, up to three times per account.
Which bead brands does it support?
Perler, Hama, Artkal S, MARD and Nabbi, each with its own color codes. You can switch brand at any time and the pattern moves to the nearest colors.
Are the colors exact?
They are close but not official. The values were sampled from real beads by the community, and screens vary, so check a real bead in daylight before buying a lot.
Can it use only the beads I already have?
Yes. Add your colors in My beads, then turn on “Use only beads I own” in the designer. The pattern is rebuilt from those colors alone.
How big will my pattern be?
With 5 mm beads, each bead is 5 mm, so 58 beads across is 29 cm. The designer shows the finished size and how many 29-peg boards you need as you change it.
Does my picture get uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the image stays on your device. Only a finished pattern you choose to save or post leaves it.
